WebI have played the game with 4, 8 and 16gb of ram and also on SSD and HDD and I can tell you (rn I am on 8gb + SSD) that storage speed matters, however after some testing I've seen that most ram is used while loading the game (the vanilla + all DLCs consume ~8-10 GB ram while loading) and then ram usage spikes down to about half.
