WebDec 30, 2015 · It's probably the compressor, but make sure you watch the 4x4 screen on the dash to see if any of the wheels are flying up or down in a weird manner. Then it's a ride height sensor. The compressor's desiccant goes bad after a while and it could simply be that (esp if you're in a high moisture area). But my money is on the exhaust valve.
